Nike add

In this Nike add thy have used many advertising techniques and I am going to discus them now in my analyses.

With the color of this advertisement every thing is black and grey but the shoe its colored red and red means power and passion and passion so in a way there saying if you wear these shoes you will have energy and passion and be good at basket ball.

In this add it uses vector lines which work really well the shoe its self is pointing to the bottom left  which has a Nike sign also in the bottom the ball the man is dribbling is pointing in the direction of the Nike sign. Also in the top left his head is pointing to the shoe and in the bottom right his leg is pointing to the name of the shoe.

The screen shots are also good because in the first picture it has a medium shot of him and this is saying that he doesn’t just play hard he rests hard as well in the second picture it is a full shot of the shoe and it is colored so your attention goes to the shoe and you say I want that shoe. In the third shot it has a full shot of him dribbling the ball which says if you get these shoes you will be as good as me. In the forth picture it has a full shot of him that says you will live like me if you have these shoes and in the last picture it is a  medium shot of him in a car which says I still live like you I have to drive to the game or get driven to the game.

The compositional meanings of this add are the left which is the   given which is him relaxing so this means he relaxes as hard as he plays. In the right it is the new product which in this case is the new Nike shoe. the top which is the ideal the promise of the product which is promising you the good shoes. The bottom which is the real which is  him doing normal things . in the margin which is the less important things is the outline  line of the car the background of all the pictures ect.

This is my analyses on the Nike add and this is what think the add is trying to tell us without us even realizing.
